It is such an amazing thing to look back on difficulty and see its purpose in your life. The pain, the heartache, the rejection, the confusion, the insecurity, the anxiety, the less-than-pleasant circumstances…without all of that, I would not have started down this path. I would not be where I am today.
And that is a sobering thought, indeed.
