'In Faerie Lands Forlorn'

"I am going to make everything around me beautiful; that will be my life." --Elsie de Wolfe

7 notes

The woman who makes her own clothes has several advantages over the woman who must buy the style nearest to her requirements and then pay to have it altered, or who must pay the high cost of having a couturier design her wardrobe. Not only can she wear clothes which would be far beyond what she could afford to buy, but she has the added satisfaction of knowing that they are designed for her figure alone, not for a general category of women’s figures.
